PALACOS® bone cement working times
This educational app supports surgeons and operating room staff with the handling of the PALACOS® bone cements and mixing devices from Heraeus. The PALACOS® app provides guidance on the use of the Heraeus bone cement and cementing portfolio even under changing operating room conditions.
The PALACOS® app includes working times for
- PALACOS® bone cements
- room temperatures between 63° and 77°F (17° and 25°C)
- hand-mixed
- vacuum-mixed and
- pre-chilled bone cements
Further features
- saving of profiles of favorite settings
- audible countdown function for each working phase
- audible guide for mixing phase
These working times are provided as charts. An included audible countdown function allows you to not watch a clock so that you can concentrate on the important cementing steps.
You can also create profiles with your favorite settings when you are using several bone cement viscosities or techniques or varying temperatures in the operation room with different teams
